Wildlife crossings on LAPSSET: design before the fence

Crossings and pastoral routes are design constraints. Retrofit fences are an admission of failed sequencing.

Corridor: LAPSSET

LAPSSET cuts through landscapes that already host wildlife migrations and pastoral mobility. Treating crossings as a later mitigation package is how corridors become conflict infrastructure. Design before the fence means alignments, underpasses, and speed regimes negotiated with communities who host the spine.

House position: no corridor board packet is complete without a crossing and consent map beside the bill of quantities.
